Your role in the team

As a (Junior) Piping Engineer, you’ll contribute to the engineering and design of piping systems for offshore platforms and process installations throughout all project phases, from concept studies and FEED to detailed engineering.

Working closely with colleagues from multiple disciplines, you’ll help develop practical and efficient piping solutions for challenging offshore projects.

Whether you’re at the start of your career or already have relevant experience, you’ll be given the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, take on increasing responsibility and grow within our multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key responsibilities

  • Review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and process information as the basis for piping design.
  • Contribute to platform layouts and develop efficient piping routes in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
  • Create and maintain 3D piping models using Plant 3D, Cloudscans and Navisworks.
  • Prepare engineering deliverables, including drawings, isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), reports and piping lists.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of specifications and engineering libraries.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable standards and Enersea’s quality procedures.

Qualifications

You enjoy solving technical challenges, have a practical mindset and like working in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 0–5 years of experience in piping engineering or design within the offshore, process or energy industry.
  • Knowledge of piping design principles, materials and applicable design standards.
  • Experience with Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar software is an advantage. Experience with pipe stress engineering is considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Dutch language skills or willingness to learn Dutch.
