Senior E&I Designer

Your role in the team

As a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer, you’ll develop and maintain high-quality electrical and instrumentation designs for offshore installations throughout all project phases. Working closely with Process, Mechanical, Piping and Structural Engineers, you’ll play a key role in delivering practical, reliable and buildable engineering solutions for challenging offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and optimise E&I systems for offshore installations throughout all project phases.
• Develop and maintain the associated engineering documentation, including P&IDs, instrumentation documentation, drawings and material take-offs (MTOs).
• Support multidisciplinary design reviews by identifying improvements, clashes and technical risks, and contribute to 3D model development.
• Deliver high-quality engineering packages in accordance with project requirements, offshore standards and Enersea’s quality procedures.

Qualifications

You enjoy solving technical challenges, take ownership of your work and thrive in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO/BSc) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in offshore Oil & Gas engineering.
• Experience with brownfield and greenfield projects in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills; experience with Navisworks and offshore certifications such as BOSIET are an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch language skills, or willingness to learn Dutch.
• A proactive, analytical and quality-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
