Hydrogen platforms
Offshore hydrogen production requires the integration of hydrogen technology, electrical systems and offshore infrastructure into a safe and efficient platform design. Together with sister company H2sea, Enersea develops green offshore hydrogen platforms ranging from 50 MW to 1,000 MW, combining Enersea’s extensive offshore engineering experience with H2sea’s specialised hydrogen expertise.
Our multidisciplinary engineering covers both topsides and foundations, bringing together structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. The platform layout is developed around the hydrogen production process and the equipment and auxiliary systems required for electrolysis, water treatment, compression and export. From early concepts and feasibility studies through to FEED and detailed design, Enersea and H2sea provide an integrated approach to the planning, design and development of offshore hydrogen production facilities.
