Enersea designs jacket for UK offshore substation

For an offshore wind farm in UK waters, Enersea has completed the basic and detailed design of two jackets. These jackets, weighing 4,000 tons each, will support two different offshore substations of approximately 9,000 tons.

Both jackets will be fixed to the seabed with piles through skirt sleeves whereby the piles will be grouted inside the skirt sleeves to ensure a solid connection.

Enersea also carried out the temporary phase analyses, detailed analyses and design drawings for both jackets.
