Two modest gas discoveries are being tied-back to de Ruyter platform based on a novel field development concept designed by Enersea. After careful evaluation against subsea options, the platform concept was selected, designed, fabricated and installed. Currently assumed to be the smallest, or better, most cost effective platform to date in the southern North Sea. For the facilities Enersea was tasked with the engineering management, full platform design scope, pipeline design and flow assurance, umbilical specification and offshore installation management.
