Efficient offshore hydrogen production depends not only on the electrolysis process itself, but also on the supporting systems required to keep the complete plant operating safely and efficiently. Enersea designs and integrates the Balance of Plant (BoP) for offshore green hydrogen production platforms, bringing together the auxiliary systems and utilities surrounding the core hydrogen production process.
Our multidisciplinary expertise covers key areas such as utilities, water separation, processing and compression, as well as the interfaces between these systems and the electrolyser system. By considering the Balance of Plant as an integrated part of the overall platform design, our engineers can optimise system arrangements, equipment integration and operational performance. This results in a coherent BoP design that supports reliable and efficient offshore hydrogen production.
