Secondary steel structures play an important role in the safe access, operation and maintenance of offshore wind foundations and platforms. Enersea designs a wide range of secondary steel structures, including platforms, ladders, boat landings, access systems and other supporting structures. Our engineers consider structural requirements alongside fabrication, transport, installation and operational needs to develop practical and efficient solutions.

Close cooperation with fabricators and installation contractors are an important part of our approach. Their requirements and experience can be incorporated early in the design process, helping to improve constructability and prevent avoidable issues during fabrication and offshore installation. Enersea can provide engineering support from initial concepts through to detailed design, either as an individual scope or as part of the overall foundation or platform design.
