Successful installation of Dana Petroleum’s P11-Unity platform, designed by Enersea

The P11-Unity platform was successfully installed last week (22nd – 24th October) in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. Enersea designed this gas production platform, for Dana Petroleum, in such a way that it could be installed in a single lift. Installation by HSM and HMC went very swiftly.

Next to the design of the platform, Enersea also takes care of the interface engineering and act’s as client representative. In this capacity Enersea was present as part of the project team on the HMC Sleipnir Crane vessel during installation.

The pipeline and umbilical installation is the next phase in this project and is scheduled early 2021. Until then, the platform will remain unattended and navigational aids will operate on solar power. The first gas from P11-Unity will flow in the course of 2021 through P11-B-De Ruyter to shore.
